The Hazel Bloom’s Top 10 Most Popular Recipes
Thursday, November 18, 2010 in Food
I’ve been doing this crazy blog thing here at The Hazel Bloom for over a year now. What a ride it’s been! I’ve learned a ton about blogging, and even more about cooking and baking, and possibly even more about photography. And I’ve already overhauled the thing once, last July – when I redesigned the site and switched platforms. Oy! I love this thing though; it’s a lot of work, but an absolute blast.
I love it so much I’m actually working on a second blog that I’m planning to launch early next year. How nutty am I?
Don’t answer that.
Today, though, I thought I’d share with you the most popular recipes here on this thing so far. By “most popular,” I mean these have been the top 10 most visited recipes. The number one recipe wins by a landslide – it’s been viewed more than the other nine combined! I kind of love that, because it might just be my favorite, too.
Here they are!
10. Sweet, Spicy, and Savory Pumpkin Seeds

9. No-Bake Cookies (Chocolate + Peanut Butter + Easy = Oh Yeah)
8. Iced Coffee

Mmmm. I miss summer.

6. Spinach Pesto Pasta with Portobello Mushrooms or Bacon

2. Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Skewers, aka “Love”
AND the number one most popular recipe is…
Drum roll please!
1. The Best Macaroni and Cheese Recipe Ever!
Glad to know I’m not alone in my love for Mac & Cheese. But back off, buckos. I’m the one who loves it so much I wanna marry it.
Note: I recently decided to carry on my Gran’s tradition of giving boxes of Kraft dinner as a present, as my four-year-old niece loves the stuff as much as I always did. So I put a box in her trick-or-treat bag when she came around on Halloween – and my sis reported back that when they got home, she didn’t care about the candy. She just wanted her mom to whip up the macaroni and cheese.
That’s a smart kid, right there.

I think that the jalapeno ouch rolls might be my personal favorite. Never can get enough of that comfort food!

The macaroni and cheese recipe is SO GOOD! Best I have ever made and I’m OLD :-) I made it for a gathering and they kept coming back until every bit was gone, it was the first thing to go!
