Bouquets of Butterflies on Branches

This is one of those projects that takes next to no time to whip up. Not only does it bit of springy whimsy to any tabletop, I guarantee it will make you smile at least once per day. Plus, it’s the perfect, no-maintenance “bouquet” for super-busy folks like me. Bonus!

Just grab some branches from your yard, local grocery store florist shop or craft store, and stick them in a favorite vase.

Then print out this butterfly template compliments of the esteemed Martha Stewart. And cut out the little half butterfly.

Pick out some colorful paper (I used plain old construction paper) and fold it in half. Place the half butterfly template with the body part on the folded crease. Trace. Cut it out, unfold the butterfly, and adhere it to the branch with a little hot glue. (My guy suggested I add antennas. Love!)

Enjoy the smiles!

I love this idea. I think the antenna’s add a lot.
Tomorrow I will go “stick” hunting. :)

I’m thinking of ways to incorporate this idea into our Worship Center decor.

Definition of Statistics: The science of producing unreliable facts from reliable figures.
If you aren’t playing well, the game isn’t as much fun. When that happens I tell myself simply to go out and play as I did while i would have been a kid.
