Welcome, Summer! A Few Recipes I Can’t Wait to Make

Finally! Summer is here … or at least, it’s darn close. The weatherman said it’s so, and if the weatherman says it’s so … well, I choose to believe this time around. Bring on sunflowers and popsicles and running through sprinklers, baby. I’m ready.

I’m ready for summery goodies, too. Ice cream, juicy garden-grown tomatoes, just-picked basil and peppermint, refreshing iced beverages. Goodies like these.

Watermelon, Feta, and Arugula Salad

Sweet, salty, peppery and oh-so refreshing.

Orzo Salad with Garbanzo Beans and Cherry Tomatoes

Fresh basil, fresh mint and garden-grown cherry tomatoes make this the perfect summer salad.

Pizza on the Barbecue

Just mmmmm. Can’t wait!

Fresh Bing Cherry Ice Cream

Gorgeous hue and delicious too.

Chocolate Chocolate Ice Cream

Yep, you guessed it … this one is seriously chocolatey. A little summer decadence never hurt anyone, right?

Ginger and Lemongrass Iced Green Tea

So light, summery and revitalizing.

Iced Coffee

With coffee ice cubes! I love iced coffee season.

Can’t wait! What’s your most-anticipated summer dish or drink?
